Custom Hair Color in Albuquerque
Thoughtful color, gray coverage, highlights, and corrective work planned around your hair history and goals.

Finding the Right Color for You
Color can be hard to book by name. You may know what you want your hair to look like, but not which service gets you there.
That’s why new color appointments begin with a conversation. Your stylist will look at your current hair and color history, talk through your inspiration photos, and help you understand what’s realistic.
We use Alfaparf Milano, a professional Italian color line trusted in salons around the world. That means professional-grade color and honest guidance so you know exactly what to expect before your appointment begins.

Our color services include:
One Color Process. Best for gray coverage, root touch-ups, or refreshing one all-over shade.
Face Framing / Money Piece. Best when you want brightness around the face or through the top sections of your hair.
Full Highlights. Best when you want brightness and dimension throughout the full head.
Highlights with Color In Between. Best for depth, contrast, balayage, or highlights with color in-between.
Specialty Blonding or Corrective Color. Best for major blonding, vivid color, advanced techniques, or color that needs repair.
If you’re not sure which service fits, that’s normal. We’ll help you choose the right next step for your hair and your goal.

Had a Color Experience You’d Rather Forget?
Bad color makes it hard to trust someone new. Brassiness, uneven tone, banding, or over-processing can leave you nervous before your next appointment — and rightfully so.
Corrective color is one of our specialties. Elizabeth Asher, owner and Master Color Authority, has spent more than 40 years helping clients fix what went wrong and get back to hair they feel good about.
The first step is an honest conversation. We’ll look at where your hair is now and tell you exactly what’s possible before anything is mixed.
Services & Pricing
All prices are starting prices. Final pricing depends on hair length, density, color history, and the time needed for your service. We use Alfaparf Milano, the world’s leading Italian professional color brand.
New color and specialty service clients should complete the Inspired Look form before booking. Specialty Color, major color changes, and corrective color are not available for direct online booking. Please call the salon at (505) 255-5544 to confirm timing, pricing, and the right plan for your hair.

Products Chosen With Experience
Jacqueline’s product standards come from decades behind the chair and hands-on experience creating professional hair care products. She learned early that the right shampoo, conditioner, and styling products can change how hair behaves between visits.
Color fades faster in New Mexico’s dry climate and sun. The right shampoo, moisture support, and heat protection can make a real difference in how long your color stays fresh between visits. Before you leave, your stylist will point you toward what your specific color needs at home. The goal is simple. Protect the investment you just made in your hair.

What to Expect
Your color appointment begins with a clear plan. We’ll talk through your hair history, your inspiration photos, how much upkeep you want, and any concerns before color is mixed.
Color timing depends on the service. A one color process or face framing may take a shorter visit, while highlights with color in between, corrective work, and major blonding or specialty techniques need more time. Your stylist will explain the expected timing before the service begins.
During your appointment, your stylist will apply the color, monitor processing, rinse and tone when needed, then finish your hair so you can see the result. Before you leave, we’ll talk through at-home care and the best maintenance schedule for your color.

Before You Book
Please review our Salon Policies before your appointment. We ask for 48 hours’ notice for cancellations, rescheduling, or appointment changes. If you’re not sure which service to choose, call us, and we’ll help you find the best next step for your hair.
